Good day everyone!
I have daily conversations with clients, friends, people in and out of my industry, mastermind groups and online communities that reveal unique things to me - we truly are what we think we are AND we are who we hang out with.
Reading Think and Grow Rich for the umpteenth time - is a book that I gain new insights from EVERY TIME I read it - as I mature I go deeper in learning - and the book makes sense to me only as I grow into utilizing the principles.
We learn the most only from those that implement what they learn. I hang out with readers who do nothing with what they learn. I am around people that invest thousands of dollars into an online course and they even travel to a training and have no implementation of what they invested in (and they wonder why they stay stuck).
If you invest in our training - I expect you to implement. If you dont, there is a reason why.
Frustration and fear.
Once we realize these obstacles we break down your fear (usually based on Limiting Beliefs and Uncertainty) and we give you a system to try to see how it works for you. It is the system that reduces fear and over time builds confidence.
We do this daily with people that sit in our chair - or online in a group or live training - by implementing something to work through frustration and fear....and it works for just about everyone that takes the systems on and makes it their own.
Most people feel as if they are alone
You are not alone.
Your thinking wants to make you 'feel' alone. Over time you end up down a self inflicted thought tunnel that makes you 'feel' like your stuck or you feel as though you are all on your own with no one else understanding where you are at.
Another thought comes from a book called Linchpin by Seth Godin where you become a 'cog' in the world of conforming to what you have been trained and conditioned to do that fits in the universe with turning wheels that interlace with each other and as a unit make the place you work at function.
There is then a Linchpin - one that has a vision to make something special and steps out (not in fear) but in faith to give another human a gift - something they created - without expectation of something in return.
This gift can be anything.
It can be a service, a product or some from of information.
I created a blog in 2012 that put out content for free to help others - and today it has changed over time into a company that reaches others around the world with mentoring, online courses, live trainings and more.
"A Linchpin feels the fear, acknowledges it, then proceeds. I can't tell you how to do this; I think the answer is different for everyone. What I can tell you is that in today's economy, dong it is a prerequisite for success." (Pg. 65 quote from Linchpin).
So, what can you do?
1) Face yourself and stop lying to yourself. You say things to yourself that create your own drama.
Stop the f'n LYING.
Tell the truth of what is going on - face it.
2) Learn more of who you already are - face your authentic self and develop your strengths and drop the deal with thinking you need to develop your weaknesses.
3) Start your day Spiritually to create your day Physically. Start your day with developing healthy habits that then fuel your day. Everyone I know develops their own routine to fuel their day.
4) Create what you want and start giving it out as a gift without the expectation of something in return.
5) Do this over and over - I mean every freaking day - until something shifts....and that shift will start a new life for you.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with what you can implement to start a side hustle (I worked 2-3 jobs/day) until over time something happens that makes sense to leave my Cog-Work-Job's and be a Linchpin - and that 'something' is when people believe in you, they trust you and they see that you mean what you are doing. You busted through critics, people judging you and you still stepped out and delivered.
The 'side-hustle' turns into your dream work, your calling and your passion.
You have to work through and implement to achieve it.
It doesn't happen over night.
Seldom can you do it alone - and that comes from the Mastermind Principle from Think and Grow Rich - where you have others ahead of you helping you achieve your dream.
I am grateful to be apart of some wonderful Masterminds.
You can become smart doing all of this - and that can get you in trouble with developing an ego.
Its true - if you are the sharpest pencil in the room - you are in the wrong room.
You must persist in finding others that are sharper than you.
That means being humble and asking for help.
Finally - it is human nature to compare yourself to others.
Comparison is a thief of joy.
You see someone doing what you wish you want to do and it makes you shrink.
When you shrink you fall apart and your Eternal Desire stops fueling your passion to take action.
Sometimes you have to stop looking at what others are doing and just work on your own creation. (read that again)
I know for a fact that you are a unique creation that has your own way of expressing what you do.
We need to see more of what you are doing.
For now,
